Driving Lessons & Community Safety

Your safety, comfort, and confidence matter to us!

There has recently been an increased presence of immigration enforcement activity in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. We know this has caused concern for many in our community, especially for immigrants and mixed-status families.

Before you decide whether to schedule or attend driving lessons, we want you to feel informed and supported.

Your Choice Comes First

We encourage every student to:

  • Decide what feels right for you — If you are not comfortable driving right now, that is completely okay.

  • Know your rights — We provide clear guidance on what to do during a traffic stop and how to protect yourself legally.

  • Know we are here to support you — Whether you continue lessons now or choose to wait, we respect and support your decision.

There is no pressure to attend lessons if you do not feel safe. Your well-being always comes first.

If you would like to talk through concerns, review safety information, or discuss alternatives, please reach out — we’re here for you.
